Manipur’s COVID-19 situation continues to be grim as the State on Wednesday logged as many as 17 deaths relating to the deadly disease.
With these 17 new COVID-19 deaths, Manipur’s COVID-19 death tally currently stands at 526.
On the other hand, Manipur registered over 650 new COVID-19 cases.
As many as 666 new COVID-19 cases have emerged in Manipur.

Of these 666 new cases, 346 are male and 295 are female.
On the other hand, 7 cases personnel from the Central Armed Paramilitary Forces deployed in the State.
With the detection of these 666 new COVID-19 cases, Manipur’s active cases tally has jumped to 5272.
Of the total 5272 active COVID-19 cases in Manipur, 5099 are from the general public and 173 are from the Central Armed Paramilitary Forces deployed in the State.

Meanwhile, the total COVID–19 cases in Manipur have also risen to 37036.
Meanwhile, as many as 358 persons have also recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
Manipur’s COVID-19 recovery rate has further dropped to 84.34%
