IMPHAL: Violence resurfaces in Manipur as a gunfight erupted between two groups, resulting in the death of a 33-year-old individual.
The incident unfolded in Sinam Kom, located on the border between the Kangpkopi and Imphal East districts of Manipur, during the night of Friday (April 26).
Additionally, a ‘village volunteer’ who had gone missing after the confrontation was discovered deceased on Saturday (April 27) morning.
The deceased has been identified as Laishram Prem.
Earlier, two CRPF personnel lost their lives in a suspected Kuki militants’ attack in Narayansena region under Bishnupur district of Manipur.
