Guwahati: Excitement is in the air as Manipur’s first water amusement park is all set to be inaugurated on March 13 this year. Construction of the park, spearheaded by the Manipur Police Housing Corporation Limited, is in its final stages, with the state government planning to dedicate it to the public next Wednesday.

The water amusement park, situated about 12 kilometres from the state’s capital Imphal, is poised to offer a diverse range of recreational opportunities. It will also offer a vibrant atmosphere and a refreshing change for the people of the state, allowing them to unwind and enjoy a few hours of recreation.

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh, accompanied by state Chief Secretary Vineet Joshi and other senior officials, visited the park on Saturday. 

After visiting the park, Chief Minister Singh wrote on X, “Inspected the water amusement park located in Awang Potsangbam Khunou, Imphal East. This park will enhance recreational opportunities in the region. With this new addition to our community, families and individuals will have a vibrant and refreshing destination to unwind and create lasting memories.”

With the construction works of the park nearing completion, people of the state are eager to explore the various attractions that the park has to offer, making it a potential hotspot for families and individuals seeking a vibrant atmosphere.
