Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Tuesday chaired a meeting on acquisition of land for construction of a 60-bedded Maternity & Child Hospital in the state.

Confirming this, Chief Minister Biren in a tweet wrote, “Chaired a meeting on acquisition of land for construction of a 60 bedded Maternity & Child Hospital in a minority concentrated area.”

“The meeting was attended by Sapam Ranjan, MLA & Advisor to CM (Health), CS, PCCF, Principal Secretary (Health), Commissioner (Revenue), Commissioner (MA/OBC & SC), and other concerned officials of the State Government,” Biren added.

Meanwhile, a high-level committee has been constituted to look into the shifting of the security forces from the old airfield to 33-Keingam, Imphal West, near the 57 Mountain Division based in Leimakhong.

Sharing the above information about constituting the high-level committee in another social media post, Chief Minister Biren also informed about chairing a review meeting on the transfer of land under old airfield at Koirengei, Imphal East, presently occupied by Central security forces to the State Government.
