An official team of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) met Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Saturday in Imphal.
The team was led by its CII-North East Council chairman and Managing Director of Numaligarh Refinery Ltd. SK Barua
Barua, during the meeting, briefed N Biren about the skills intervention in Manipur through its expertise in skill development.
The CM gave a patient hearing to Barua’s suggestions and proposals.
He welcomed the suggestion and asked the team to submit a proposal in this regard.
Managing Director of Tripura Natural Gas Company Ltd.B Sinha, Director of CII North East Subhajit Poddar, Regional Director CII Saikat Roy Chowdhury and other officials from CII were also present in the meeting.
