A bomb blast has been reported from the capital city of Manipur – Imphal.
The bomb blast took place in the wee hours of Wednesday.
The blast took place at Lamlong Bazar in Imphal East district of Manipur.
No casualty or injury to anyone has been reported in the blast.
However, a shop, reported to be a medical store, was badly damaged in the blast.
Several fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the fire, which broke out after the blast.
Meanwhile, police have cordoned off the area and launched an investigation.
No militant group thus far has taken responsibility for the bomb blast.
