Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated a total of 13 projects worth Rs 1850 crore in Manipur ahead of Assembly elections in the state.

PM Modi also laid foundations of 22 developmental projects worth Rs 4800 crores.

This is the first visit of the Prime Minister to Manipur ahead of the Assembly elections in the state.

PM Modi also inaugurated a COVID-19 hospital.

Projects under the “Imphal Smart City Mission” were also inaugurated by PM Modi.

The INA war memorial was inaugurated and the tricolor at the Northeast’s tallest flagpole was also unfolded by the PM.

A new ITI has also been inaugurated by PM Modi, “which will cater to the skill development needs of the youth”.

“Manipur fulfilling dreams of new India,” said PM Modi after inaugurating the projects.
