The total number of COVID 19 cases in Manipur rose to 132 even as 41 patients were discharged from the hospitals after they recovered from the infection.
Additional health director and spokesperson of the health department Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang, in a press release issued on Friday night, said 8 persons- 5 males and 3 females- had tested COVID-19 positive.
Four of them have recently returned from Mumbai while two returned from Delhi.
The other two persons have returned from Deoband and Bengaluru.
The state now has 91 active cases of COVID-19.
