As many as 15 political parties of Manipur have resolved to join the October Mass Rally 2018 scheduled for October 31.
A resolution in this regard was taken at a meeting held at the Manipur Press Club in Imphal on Thursday where representatives of the political parties also offered various suggestions and opinions.
They have also urged the masses to take part in the rally and make it a success.
The rally on October 31 will be taken out with the motto: ‘A demonstration to show the legitimate wish of the people of Manipur to live and grow together as Manipur’.
The rally is being supported by United Committee of Manipur (UCM) in association with various CVO’s and people of the State.
The mass rally will commence from Tiddim ground and conclude at Khuman Lampak main stadium.
The mass rally is being organized to press the stakeholders of the Framework Agreement to make it public alleging it has a ‘hidden agenda’.
The meeting was attended by representatives of NEIDP, BJP, CPI(M), BSP, MPP, CPI, LJP, Congress party, SIVA SENA, PRAJA, Trinamool Congress, Aam Aadmi Party, JDS, Democratic Bharatiya Samaj Party and All India Forward Block (AIFB).
