The 10th foundation day of Karbi Anglong Morning Star Football Club (KAMSFC) was observed at its office here on Thursday.  On the occasion, the new office room of the club was inaugurated by Chief Executive Member (CEM), Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) and president, Karbi Anglong Sports Association (KASA), Tuliram Ronghang.

Club president Sengkan Ronghang hoisted the flag.  Addressing a meeting CEM Ronghang said, “The KAMSFC is a popular football club in Assam. The club is slowly but steadily improving and making a mark in the football arena in the North East. The club will make all efforts to take football to the remotest corner of Karbi Anglong. KAAC authority is trying to promote sports culture in the district and this will be possible through the support of all.”

He praised Mizi Kro, Mukul Kathar, Anjali Engtipi, Pradip Timung and former KASA, honourary secretary Dhansing Rongpi, general secretary of All Assam Football Association Ankur Dutta for making immense contribution in founding the club.

“There were ups and downs in the journey of KAMSFC, but together every hurdle can be overcome.  I pray that in the days to come all the members, well-wishers and fans will support us in making KAMSFC a top football club in the region,” Ronghang said.

Deputy Chairman, KAAC and working president of the Club Ritesh Enghi, honourary secretary Bikram Teron, Executive Members (EM), Members of Autonomous Council (MACs) and officials and members of the club were present on the occasion.
