Amid the growing protests against CAA, Indian Super League (ISL) has announced the new date for the rescheduled match between NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) and Chennaiyin FC (CFC).

The NEUFC and CFC were supposed to play against each other on December 12 at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati.

The match has now been rescheduled and will be played on February 25 in Guwahati.

In another match, the Highlanders were supposed to play against Jamshedpur FC (JFC) in Guwahati on January 2. The match will now be played on February 10 instead.

“The match between NEUFC and JFC has been rescheduled as the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium will be in use for the Khelo India Youth Games from January 9 to January 22,” infomred and ISL officials

Other changes to ISL 2019-20 schedule

– Chennaiyin FC will play against Bengaluru FC on February 9 instead of February 7.

– NUFC will face Kerala Blasters FC on February 7 instead of February 9.

– Hyderabad FC will face Jamshedpur FC on February 13 instead of February 12.

– FC Goa will take on Mumbai City FC on February 12 instead of February 13.
