The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted thunderstorm with lightning in various Northeast states for five days from April 27 to May 1, 2021.

According to the All India Weather Warning Bulletin, on April 27, thunderstorm with lightning and gusty wind at a speed of 30-40 kmph is very likely hit isolated places over Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Sikkim

The IMD predicted that on April 28, thunderstorm with lightning and gusty wind at a speed of 30-40 kmph is very likely to hit isolated places over Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

On April 29, the IMD predicted thunderstorm with lightning and gusty wind at a speed reaching 40-50 kmph, is likely to hit isolated places over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura while thunderstorm with lightning and gusty wind at a speed reaching 30-40 kmph is likely to hit isolated places over Sikkim.

On April 30, thunderstorm with lightning and gusty wind at a speed reaching 40-50 kmph is likely to hit isolated places over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

The IMD predicted that heavy rainfall is likely to hit isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya on April 30.

According to the National Weather Forecasting Centre of IMD, thunderstorm with lightning and gusty wind at a speed reaching 40-50 kmph is likely to hit isolated places over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
