Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely over isolated places of Assam and Meghalaya on Thursday and Friday, the weather.com has reported.

The weather.com has reported that a cyclonic circulation is likely to be seen over Northeast India on Wednesday.

Southwesterly winds from the Bay of Bengal will bring humidity over the Northeast India in this period.

“These conditions will lead to fairly widespread to widespread rainfall and thunderstorms, with isolated heavy rains over Northeastern India in this period,” the weather.com reported.

There is strong possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall over isolated places of Assam and Meghalaya on Thursday and Friday.

On Wednesday, there is possibility of heavy rainfall over isolated places of Assam, Meghalaya and Sikkim, the weather.com reported, adding that widespread rain/snow and thunderstorms are expected over Sikkim.

Fairly widespread rain/snow and thunderstorms are on the cards over Arunachal Pradesh, while fairly widespread rain and thunderstorms are possible over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

On Thursday, heavy to very heavy rainfall has been predicted over isolated places of Assam and Meghalaya. Heavy rainfall is likely over isolated places of Sikkim.

Fairly widespread rain/snow and thunderstorms are likely over Arunachal Pradesh, and just fairly widespread rain and thunderstorms over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
