A total of 34 teams battled it out on Monday in U 11 and U 13 categories of the ongoing Greater Guwahati Baby League (GGBL).

Match Day two of the State’s first ever structured youth league, which has been organized by the Sportscraft Management in association with Guwahati City FC and supported by Assam Football Association as well as the All India Football Federation, saw 340 kids showing some breathtaking football skills at the Nehru Stadium in the city.

The league, operated under rules and regulations of All India Football Federation, is supported by Decathlon, Egua packaged drinking water, Champions Cafe and Sun valley Hospital, said a statement released by Sportscraft Management on Monday.

In U 11 category, GTC Rhinos beat Sarusajai Sharks 4-0, Ringchang Eagles beat APRO Pythons 3-0, Sanskriti Warriors beat SBGJ 1-0, Rainbow FC beat Dispur Lions 2-0, NFR CHITAHS beat GYSFCC Bulls 2-0 while Sarusajai Hawks and Pegasus FC played 1-1 draw.

In U13 category, Pegasus FC beat NFR CHITAHS 1-0, Sarusajai Hawks beat Ringchang Eagles 2-1, AG Leopards beat Sanskriti Warriors 3-0, APRO Pythons beat Sarusajai Sharks 4-0, Thalua Panthers beat SBGJ 5-1, GYSFCC Dragons beat Asgard FC 1-0, GTC Rhinos beat Rural Soccer Schools 6-0, ARFC beat GTC Panthers 3-0.

The games between Lutuma Stags vs Rainbow FC, International Riders vs Dispur Lions and GYSFCC Bulls vs NFR crows remain goalless draw, the statement further said.
