From now onwards availing a PAN card will be much easier as a new system is going to start from this month.
To get a PAN card, what you need to do is just visit the income tax website.
After this, you have to enter your Aadhaar number which will create your PAN card immediately.
After the creation of an e-PAN card, no work will stop you. With this, on the other hand, the department will also have easy access to the hard copy of the PAN.
According to revenue secretary Ajay Bhushan Pandey, if anyone has to apply for PAN, then he has to go to the website of Income Tax.
After entering the Aadhaar number, you will come to OTP on your registered mobile. After this, your Aadhaar detail will be verified and you will be issued a PAN, which you can easily download.
After the introduction of this system, both taxpayers and departments of the country will get the benefit of this facility.
The same taxpayers will get relief from the trouble of filling the application form and submitting it to the department. With this, the department will be able to send the taxpayer’s PAN easily.
The government has made the PAN-Aadhaar link mandatory and the last date for linking PAN to Aadhaar is March 31 2020.
