A drama festival is being organized at Dharmanagar Vivekananda Sardo Satabarshiki Bhawan in Tripura under the aegis of Learners Education Society,.
The drama festival will continue till March 18.
A total of five plays will be staged by the teams from Dhaka, Polipur, West Bengal, Melaghar and Guwahati.
As a part of the inauguration of the drama festival, a massive rally was organized at Dharmanagar, where students from class 1 to 8 participated in a ‘go as you like’ programme.
There is a lot of established research about the positive influences from drama, theatre and the performing arts, especially on young people.
The benefits are physical, emotional, social, and they help to develop a healthy appreciation of culture and the arts.
