Indian boxer Mary Kom came out in public on Thursday to thank Delhi Police for making the birthday of her younger son “so special” amid the lockdown.
In a twitter message on Thursday evening, Mary Kom thanked the Delhi Police for making the birthday of her younger son Prince “so special”.
The boxer from Manipur shared a video showing Delhi Police personnel, including a DCP, clapping, and singing “Happy Birthday to you…..” for Prince.
“Thank you DCPNewDelhi for making this birthday so special for my younger son Prince Kom,” She said in the twitter message.

A Delhi Police team had landed in Mary Kom’s official residence in New Delhi with birthday cake and gifts for Prince, who turned seven on Thursday.
Mary Kom, who had won the World Amateur Boxing champion for a record six times in a row, is now a member of the Rajya Sabha, and is preparing for the Tokyo Olympic in 2021.
She had also been ranked as No. 1 AIBA World Women’s Ranking Light Flyweight category. She is also the first Indian woman boxer to get a Gold Medal in the Asian Games in 2014 at Incheon, South Korea.
Mary Kom is married to a footballer, Karung Onkholer. Together they have three sons, twins born in 2007, and Prince was born on May 14, 2013.
