Christmas festive spirit has gripped Bordumsa in Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh. A  pre-Christmas event was organised by Bordumsa Christian Forum on Sunday evening.

To mark the pre-Christmas event a huge candle light procession was taken out. Mrs Nikh Meena was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Pastor at Indian Pentecostal Church of God at Bordumsa Senai Wangno addressed the congregation beside offering prayers and offering religious discourses coupled with pre-Christmas wishes to all.

General Secretary of BCF Mualin Agan addressing the media told that the pre-Christmas agenda of the evening was marked by brief prayers, cutting of Christmas cake and candlelight march which kicked off from the general ground and passed through Christian Tinali and Kherem Tinali thus culminating in the ground in a befitting manner.

The programme was attended by a significant number of followers including the pastors of Bordumsa based 11 Christian denomination from 47 different churches in Bordumsa and its neighbouring areas.

Senai Wangno the religious leader during the candle light procession greeted everyone on Christmas and said the light suffers the heat of fire but radiates lights for others. “As such with the candles in hand removing the darkness of spiritual knowledge and ignorance of the people particularly the atheist to believe in Him as the final emancipator, the people participated in the procession”, he added.

Meanwhile marking the advent of the most awaited Joyful Christmas, a Christmas cake was also cut and Christmas songs and dances marked the occasion.
