A bust of Balen Harizan, a jawan of 203 CRPF Cobra and a resident of Garh under Bajali sub-division who sacrificed his life while on duty at Jharkhand on June 17, 2016 in the attack of Naxal extremists was unveiled on Wednesday.
The bust was unveiled by the commandant of 10th Bn of CRPF, S N Ballai.
The bust was erected under the aegis of CRPF.
The function in this regard was attended by B V Reddi, Bajali SDO (civil), Tilweswar Saikia, SDPO Bajali, Viky Yadav, Commandant of CRPF, among others.
The bust was erected at the premises of Swahid Madan Routa HS School, Saderi.
Dibakar Das, principal of the school, Raghu Nath Harizan, father of the martyr, mother Malati Harizan, and wife Barnali Harizan also attended the function.
