Another accused in connection with the Bulli Bai app was arrested by the Mumbai Police on Thursday.

This is the fourth arrested by the Mumbai Police in connection with the application which was being used by right-wing extremists to ‘auction’ Muslim women.

The accused has been identified as Neeraj Singh. He was arrested from Odisha by a team of Mumbai Police cyber cell.

The arrests made by Mumbai Police includes a 19-year-old girl from Bengaluru.

Apart from this, the Delhi Police arrested the creator of the app earlier.

The creator and the main accused in the case, Neeraj Bishnoi was arrested from Assam’s Jorhat.

Neeraj Bishnoi was arrested by the IFSO team of the Delhi Police.

“Neeraj Bishnoi, arrested from Assam by Delhi Police Special Cell’s IFSO team, is the main conspirator and creator of Bulli Bai on GitHub, and the main Twitter account holder of the app”, Delhi DCP (IFSO) KPS Malhotra informed.

He added, “He (Neeraj Bishnoi) has confessed, but most importantly, we have acquired technical evidence required from his laptop and mobile phone. The whole network has been busted.”
