The Assam Congress on Friday posed a question before the youth of the State – You want jobs or CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act).
The Assam Congress asked this question to the youth of the State while briefing the media in Guwahati on Friday on the party’s mega “Congressor 5 Guarantee” yatra campaign.
Notably, providing jobs to the unemployed youth of the State is one of the five ‘guarantees’ that the Assam Congress has made as part of its “Congressor 5 Guarantee” yatra campaign.
The Assam Congress has ‘guaranteed’ that it will provide 5 lakh jobs in total (1 lakh jobs per year in the Government’s tenure of 5 years) for the unemployed youth of the State.
“Within a few days of launching the www.Congressor5Guarantee.in, nearly 80,000 unemployed youth of Assam have registered themselves for jobs,” Assam Congress leader Bobbeeta Sharma said.
“The BJP had promised 25 lakh jobs to Assam youth in 5 years. They failed. We are giving a guarantee of 5 lakh jobs for the youths of Assam if the Assam Congress is voted to power,” said Bobbeeta Sharma.
