The corpse of a 28 year old male wild jumbo was found here in a small ditch in a paddy field at no 3 Udaipur village adjacent to the Kotha Reserve Forest recently in Jagun
Forest Range under Digboi Division in Tinsukia district of Upper Assam. Mystery still shrouds the cause leading to the death of the elephant at a time when incidents of man-elephant conflicts are being reported from various parts of the state of Assam.
