A truck that was seized by police was set on fire by unidentified persons in Assam’s Dhubri district.
The incident occurred in Sagolia located near the Assam-West Bengal interstate border.

The truck that was set on fire was seized as it was allegedly being used to smuggle 30 cattle heads on December 26, 2021. Two persons were also arrested along with the truck.

Due to the lack of parking space at the Sagolia Police Outpost, the police had kept the truck near the highway.

However, after the police parked the truck, some unidentified persons set the truck on fire.
