Sara Ali Khan in Guwahati for documentary shooting on Assam Police’s ‘Veerangana’ battalion

Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan was in Guwahati on Saturday. 

She visited Guwahati for shooting a documentary on Assam Police’s women commando battalion. 

The documentary was shot at the Assam police commando battalion in Mandakata, North Guwahati. 

In the documentary, Sara Ali Khan will be essaying the role of a ‘Veerangana’. 

During the course of the shooting, she interacted with the personnel of the women commando battalion of the Assam police. 

She also trained alongside the other ‘Veeranganas’. 

Veerangana, is India’s first female Commando unit to tackle rising crimes against women in Assam. 

On Sunday, Sara Ali Khan also visited the world famous Kamakhya Temple atop the Nilachal Hills in Guwahati.
