Doley has been sent to judicial custody.

‘Ratnakar’ was released on October 1, 2019, and went on to become the biggest Assamese blockbuster ever and highest-grossing movie ever in the Assam circuit.

Prior to ‘Ratnakar’, it was Zubeen Garg starrer ‘Kanchanjangha’, which beat ‘Bahubali: The Conclusion’ to become the highest-grossing movie in the Assam circuit.

Apart from Jatin Bora, ‘Ratnakar’ also stars Barsha Rani Bishaya, Nishita Goswami, and Sanjib Hazarika in pivotal roles.

Two songs- ‘Eta Kotha Kowa Na’ and ‘Rati Rati’ became quite popular then and continue to be so even now.

The movie was also criticised by many for lifting the primary storyline and a few scenes and shots from the super-hit Tamil movie ‘Theri‘ starring Vijay, Samantha, and Amy Jones.
