Jatin Bora directed Ratnakar‘ is on course to overthrow Zubeen Garg’s Kanchanjangha as the highest-grossing Assamese movie ever.
On the 10th day of its release on Sunday, Ratnakar minted Rs 4.95 crore overall as it collected Rs 68 lakh on Sunday alone.
The action-drama is also on course to become the most successful movie ever in Assam circuit- the title presently held by Kanchanjangha, which overpowered Bahubali-2.
The Prabhash starrer Hindi (dubbed) version of the Telugu blockbuster collected Rs 5 crore in Assam circuit, which was surpassed by Kanchanjangha in September.
Going by the trends one can say that Ratnakar will not only surpass Kanchanjangha, but it will also set a new record, which will take some time to be scaled.
