The Gauhati High Court on Thursday adjourned the hearing of NDFB (R) chief Ranjan Daimary‘s bail petition and referred it to a specially constituted division branch of the Court.
The GHC asked Daimary to approach the special bench for after the four NDFB factions demanded his unconditional release.
Daimary was granted bail for four weeks on January 24 for taking part in the signing of the Bodo Peace Accord in New Delhi on January 27
The four-week time period ended on February 20 and went back to jail after that.
Ranjan Daimary and nine others were sentenced for life on January 30, 2019, by a special CBI court for their involvement in the October 30, 2008, Assam serial blast.
