Over 1 lakh stranded workers from Northeast have returned home through Shramik Special trains so far.
Around 40,000 stranded workers have returned home from different Northeastern states through Shramik Special trains, said an NF Railway official.
He said six passenger trains are to run by the North East Frontier Railway from Monday.
While three trains will be operational in Assam, the rest three will ply in other States, he said.
NF Railway issued specific guidelines to passengers including downloading of the Aarogya Setu app.
Meanwhile, the Assam government is likely to issue phase 1 of Unlock guidelines on Monday.
