The Agoratoli forest range of Kaziranga National Park (KNP) has been opened for tourists on Friday morning.
A small ceremony was also held for marking the opening of the forest range on Friday.
KNP director Periyarswami Shivkumar formally opened the forest range for tourists after a ribbon cutting ceremony.

The ribbon cutting ceremony was conducted by a forest official Bidyut Bikash Bora.
Retired forest officials Dharani Bora, Selim Ahmed, Krishnakanta Deuri were also present in the ceremony.
Two foreign tourists performed a coconut breaking ceremony at the function.
The anchoring of the ceremony was performed by Gitanjali Bora.
Other dignitaries who attended the ceremony include president of Agratoli Jeep Safari Association Animesh Saikia, Kaziranga DFO Ramesh Gogoi, honorary wildlife warden of Golaghat district Uttam Saikia.
Moreover, the members of Agratoli Jeep safari Association, local residents and ten foreign tourists also attended the opening ceremony.
Elephant safaris were also opened for tourists at Kohora and Bagori forest ranges on Friday.
However, most of the forest ranges of the national park have not been opened for tourists due to the renovation work going on these sites.
A total of ten tourists went on a jeep safari through the Pub Duar Agratoli forest range after it was opened.
It may be mentioned that Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal ceremoniously opened the national park for visitors on October 12 last.
