Indian and Oman football teams are to arrive in Guwahati on Monday for the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup slated to be held between the two teams at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Sarusajai on Thursday.
The tickets for the match are already on sale and can be booked online through the BookMyShow website.
The tickets are priced at Rs 50, Rs 100 and Rs 200. The Rs 50 tickets are available only for students.
A total of 23000 tickets have been printed for the upcoming football match. Among these tickets, 15000 have been printed for the public and 8000 are reserved tickets.
The state government and the Assam Football Association (AFA) are leaving no stone unturned to make the match a fun filled one.
India’s campaign for the FIFA World Cup 2022 will begin on September 5 when it takes on Oman.
India’s second match will be against Qatar on September 10.
After playing the first match in Guwahati, the Indian football team will then travel to Doha for the match against Qatar.
India will also play against Bangladesh on October 15 and against Afghanistan on November 14.
