Amid protests going on against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in Assam, the cricket fans of the State are gearing up to witness a smashing T20 cricket match between India and Sri Lanka in Guwahati on Sunday.

However, the rain might play spoilsport as Guwahati is witnessing light drizzle on Sunday.

The much awaited cricket match will be held at Barsapara Stadium from 7pm on Sunday.

However, the interesting point of the cricket match will be the comeback of cricketers Jasprit Bumrah and Shikhar Dhawan in the Indian cricket team.

Due to a stress fracture on his back, Bumarah had been out of action for four months.

Dhawan had also been on a long break from cricket after he had hurt his knee during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

It may be mentioned that the Lasith Malinga-led Sri Lanka cricket team arrived in Guwahati on Thursday and the Indian cricket team arrived in the city a day later.

According to a BCCI tweet, the India squad includes Virat Kohli (Capt), Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Sanju Samson, Rishabh Pant (wk), Shivam Dube, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Navdeep Saini, Jasprit Bumrah, Washington Sundar.

The Sri Lanka squad includes Lasith Malinga (captain), Danushka Gunathilaka, Avishka Fernando, Dasun Shanaka, Angelo Mathews, Kusal Perera, Niroshan Dickwella, Dhananjaya de Silva, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Oshada Fernando, Isuru Udana, Wanindu Hasaranga, Kusal Mendis, Lahiru Kumara, Kasun Rajitha and Lakshan Sandakan.
