Guwahati-based Marwari Hospitals on Friday launched a modern Emergency department
The department includes all the modern facilities with a procedure room, said a statement.
The department was developed with full financial support from ‘M/s Manikchand and Sons Jewellers’.
Binod Soni from Manikchand and Sons Jewellers inaugurated the department.
The President of Marwari Hospitals Ramesh Goenka has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Manikchand family for their support towards the organisation in the development of the Modern Emergency Department.
He also assured that these new modern facilities with the latest equipment will add much value to the hospital and patients can avail services at much affordable cost and it is expected that patients flow will be around 7000 per year and patients can avail the emergency services.
“The modern Emergency Department includes all the modern facilities like patient monitoring bed, isolation bed, Resuscitation unit etc,” he said.
There are a total of six beds including one isolation bed, which is equipped to serve all kinds of emergency cases like Trauma care, Orthopaedics, ENT, Neurosurgery, Gynaecology, General Medicine, General Surgery, Paediatric, Urology and Critical Care.
“Many of the day-care procedures like Blood transfusion, Minor OT procedures, Observation etc will be done at this new facility. The emergency department will be manned by qualified and experienced doctors, nursing staff and technicians. To support the emergency department, we have fully equipped Critical Care ambulance and Semi Critical Ambulance,” he added.
The Hospital Management is working on various projects like IVF and Modular OT etc, which is expected to be completed by next year, the statement added.
Along with the new Emergency department, the hospital also recently inaugurated the newly built dialysis unit and shortly the hospital will inaugurate the Academic and Research Wing which was also built in the premises of Marwari Hospital recently.
