An app CityOra, founded in May 2016, is a startup from Guwahati, working towards making life for the people of the city easier with user-friendly home delivery.
Originally a food-delivery app, it can now be used to purchase groceries online, farm fresh products, apparels, ticket booking etc.
CityOra has been operational for around two years now and is one of the highly rated local apps. It is being launched in Nagaon and Jorhat in February this year and in Dibrugarh and Tezpur in its next phase.
A single platform to access multiple services, the mobile app is available on android and iOS. The team is on a mission to generate at least 200 jobs over the next six months for the unemployed youths of Assam.
The app has served over 50,000 customers till date. With an easy user interface, it is currently available in Guwahati and Kokrajhar.
Through the app, users can explore diverse cuisines from the restaurants of their choice, can shop for clothes, get grocery, fruits and vegetables delivered at their doorstep.
While no minimum order value has been fixed for the customers, a nominal charge of Rs 20 per home delivery is taken from them.
