Sensation prevails after a youth, son of a former IAS officer, has gone missing from the Wireless area in Guwahati‘s Beltola.
The youth, identified as Bhaskar Jyoti Gogoi, a resident of Basisthapur Bylane No 1 in the Wireless area, is the son of former IAS officer of the Assam-Meghalaya cadre PK Gogoi and Indushri Gogoi.
Family members informed Northeast Now that Bhaskar Jyoti has remained missing since December 24, 2021 morning.
They said he has remained missing after he left home on Friday morning.

The family members have started a search in the houses of their relatives and his friends, but they have failed to trace out his whereabouts so far.
A missing complaint has been lodged by his family members with the Dispur police station.

The police have also not been able to trace out the missing youth.
His family members in an appeal said if anyone gets any information regarding Bhaskar Jyoti Gogoi, they can be contacted over the phone at 9706013278 or communicate with the police.
