Five more police personnel- from Rangia and Mankachar in Assam- have tested positive for COVID-19, reports said.
Two of the police officials are from Mankachar Police Station and one from South Salmara Police Station.
A teal stall vendor in Mancachar has also tested positive for COVID-19.
The vendor used to supply tea to these policemen, reports said.
The patients have been admitted to the Hatsingimari Civil Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, in Rangia, a police officer and APTF jawan have also tested positive for the virus after samples of 11 personnel were collected on Sunday.
The infected have been admitted to the Patanjali COVID-19 Hospital in Mirza, which became operational on Tuesday.
