United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) election observer Manmohan Boro has maintained that every clause of the third Bodo Accord will be implemented in a time-bound manner.

He also exuded confidence that UPPL will form the next government in the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC).

Boro hailing the decision of Assam government for initiating the process of a separate Directorate for Bodo medium schools in State opined that it is done as per Clause 6 of the last Bodo Accord.

Addressing the media in Tangla in Udalguri district on Thursday, Boro claimed that Prithviraj Narayan Mech who was released from UPPL owing to anti-party activities and non-compliance of party discipline has made baseless allegations against the party in media.

Boro also cautioned former Executive Member of BTC Jagadish Sarkar and warned of not making any defamatory statements against UPPL party and its leaders.

UPPL spokesperson Kamal Chowdhury making a scathing attack on Jagadish Sarkar said that despite being an Executive Member in BTC besides holding the post of the member in Land Advisory Board many Non-Bodo people had to face innumerable troubles in the registration of land.
