The COVID-19 fatality in Assam on Friday rose to 926 as three more patients succumbed to the viral disease.
The deceased have been identified as Hazera Khatun (70) of Nagaon, Jatindra Nath Deka (60) of Barpeta and Bhabakanta Borah (65) of Golaghat.
This was informed in a tweet by Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday evening.
“Sad to share the demise of three #COVID patients today~ Late Hazera Khatun (70) of Nagaon; Late Jatindra Nath Deka (60) of Barpeta; Late Bhabakanta Borah (65) of Golaghat,” he tweeted.
