The COVID-19 tally of Assam on Saturday rose to 1,85,444 after 1632 new cases were detected out of 33,656 tests that were conducted.
The positivity rate for the day was 4.85 per cent.
Among the new cases, 387 were reported from Kamrup (metro), 140 from Jorhat and 118 from Dibrugarh.
Till the filing of this report, a total of 148960 patients have recovered from the infection and the total active cases stand at 35746.
So far 735 people have succumbed to the infection in Assam.
