As part of the various initiatives undertaken for community welfare NTPC Bongaigaon on Friday distributed food packets to villagers of several villages in Kokrajhar district.
Around 150 families were benefitted from the aforesaid programme, which was carried out in association with I/C Salakati police station and Lat Mandal.
AGM HR NTPC Bongaigaon Shri Anil Chawla, Manager(Law) Girin Chayingia, Abhishek Srivastava and Brahmanand Samal were present on the occasion.
NTPC Bongaigaon’s all three units fully are fully operational and supplying power 24×7 during the lockdown period.
The NTPC team has also taken stringent measures to counter the COVID-19 pandemic, which includes 100 per cent thermal scanning at the entrance gates.
