Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi on Monday launched a state-wide unemployment protest in Assam.

The unemployment protest launched by Priyanka Gandhi will be led by the Assam Congress across the State.

Protests will be carried out in front of all Government employment exchange offices across Assam.

Slamming the BJP for “rampant joblessness” in Assam, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi accused the State Government and the Central Government for ‘jeopardising’ the future of the youths of the State.

“Assam has massive potential for employment generation, especially through small businesses. But the BJP has jeopardised the future of our youth by spreading rampant joblessness,” Priyanka Gandhi said.

“Congress party stands with the youth of Assam and of India,” Priyanka Gandhi added.

Earlier, Priyanka Gandhi had called out the young voters to exercise their franchise to save Assam.

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi is on a 2-day tour of Assam to campaign for the party.

“Youngsters, vote to save Assam this time,” Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi said.

Exuding confidence of the Grand Alliance winning the upcoming Assam Assembly Elections, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi said that a change is inevitable this time.

“Grand Alliance will win the Assam Assembly Elections. Change is inevitable,” added Priyanka Gandhi.
