Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal narrowly escaped a life-threatening accident when the Pawan Hans helicopter he was travelling made an emergency landing at Lilabari Airport due to bad weather.
Sonowal was on his way to Narayanpur to take part in the inaugural ceremony of Madhavdev University when the pilot faced some technical glitch in the chopper.
The CM and his team on board were unhurt and safe.
Sonowal later travelled via road to Narayanpur.
