The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has posed question before former Union finance minister P Chidambaram about his association with Indrani Bora Mukherjea and her estranged husband Peter Mukherjea.
Former media baron Indrani, who originally hails from Guwahati, had claimed in her statement to the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) that when she met Chidambaram in 2006 in New Delhi, he asked them to meet his Son Karti and suggested that they help him in his business.

The central investigating agency on Thursday asked what would he speak regarding the queries raised by the Financial Intelligence Unit over FDI investment of over `305 crore made by three Mauritius based companies in INX Media Pvt Ltd, then owned by Peter and Indrani.
The CBI also questioned him what was the source of income of his properties abroad?
