A labour awareness Camp was organized by Arunachal Pradesh Building and other Construction Workers Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB) at Tuting Solung ground in Arunachal Pradesh.

The purpose of the awareness camp was to sensitize the working class about their rights and various benefits being extended by the board.

Addressing the gathering, Assistant District Commissioner (ADC) Tuting, Kabit Apang appreciated the efforts of the board and contribution of working class in the state building process. Apang said, labour is a human factor and the main factor of development.

Technically sound and intelligent labour serves as the spinal cord of the nation. Efficient labour force makes proper use of the scarce natural resources of the country.

Sincere, dedicated, devoted, hardworking and intelligent labour force helps the country to move on the path of development, he added.

The ADC on behalf of (APB&OCWWB) distributed more than four hundred benefit kits which comprised of led TV’s, blankets, mosquito nets, rain coat etc on the occasion.

Tuting Registration Officer, Oro Taggu advised the construction workers and labourers, including those in the unorganized sector, to get themselves registered with the board to avail optimum benefits.

He extended his gratitude to the board Chairman Jalley Sonam and Labour Commissioner cum Secretary Ojing Daruring for providing welfare schemes to improve the living standard of working class in the state.
