GUWAHATI: Troopers of the Assam Rifles stationed in Nagaland detained a youth, reportedly while he was en route to joining the banned militant outfit ULFA-I.
The apprehended youth, hailing from Udoipur Merapani village in Golaghat district of Assam, has been identified as Munindra Das Narayan.
He was apprehended from Mon district in Nagaland on Friday (May 03) by Assam Rifles troopers after receiving credible information.
Later, the youth was reportedly handed over to the police in Charaideo district of Assam.
