Assam Manipur: Four KYKL insurgents arrested on I-Day eve

Guwahati: A police team in Golaghat, Assam have arrested a woman for her alleged links with the National Socialist Council of Nagaland.

According to reports, the police arrested Kamalrani Dhaka for her suspected connections to the militant group.

Dhaka was apprehended in Merapani, located within Assam’s Golaghat district.

Reports stated that Dhaka with the assistance of the NSCN, “seized” two dumper trucks belonging to another businessman named Pawan Khaliya.

The exact circumstances surrounding the seizure are still unclear.

Police based on inputs, initiated an operation on Monday night and took Dhaka into custody for questioning.
