The city police have nabbed four drug peddlers including three women from Lakhtokia area in Guwahati.
Acting on a specific input, a team of Panbazar police carried out a drive on Saturday at Railway Gate Number 2 and 3 at Lakhtokia in the city.
Police arrested the three women and a man after drugs were seized from their possession during the drive.
They were identified as Monirom Nessa alias Boro Gedi, Jahura Khatoon, Sahera Khatoon and Suraj Guwala.
The team recovered 23 grams of drugs suspected to be brown sugar, 940 empty plastic containers, banned liquids, 10 mobile handsets and cash Rs 5,000.
