Assam reported its first “case of novel coronavirus” when a man from Morigaon showed the symptoms of the virus while he was examined by the medical team at the screening counter in LGBI Airport.
The man was returning from Kerala and after he showed symptoms of the virus, the medical team immediately sent him to the GMCH.
However, there has been no official declaration in this regard.
The man is being kept in an isolation ward.
