The total number of patients testing positive for COVID-19 in Assam’s Lakhimpur district has risen to 813 following the single-day spike of 61 cases on Tuesday.
According to the district Health department in North Lakhimpur, 61 persons have been tested COVID-19 positive since Tuesday morning.
A total number of 519 persons have been discharged from various COVID-19 care hospitals in the district.
The total active COVID-19 patients in the district are 294, the Health department said.
The Lakhimpur district Health department has conducted 53 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) across the district.
The district also has eight positive cases of Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) out of 2939 tests.
Lakhimpur district also has a total of 74 positive cases of RAT +RT-PCR so far, the Health department said.
