Assam has registered four new COVID-19 cases taking the state’s total to 686 on Wednesday.
Confirming the news, Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet at 10:10 am on Wednesday morning said among the new infected patients, three are from Nagaon and one from Dhemaji.
Earlier, a total of 62 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from various hospitals across the state after their complete recovery.
The deadly disease has so far claimed the lives of four persons in Assam while three cases migrated from the State.
At present the State has 617 active COVID-19 cases.
