Assam: Indian Army’s recruitment rally begins in Mariani

An army recruitment rally began in Mariani in Assam on Saturday to induct youths into the armed force.

Youths from 15 districts of upper and central Assam who aspire to join the Army will be participating in the rally that will continue till February 25.

The recruitment rally is being organized under the aegis of the Army’s zonal recruiting office in Shillong.

A similar army recruitment rally will also take place in Dimapur in Nagaland from March 10 -20.

The Aizawl Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles conducted a pre-recruitment training camp for youths of Mizoram at its headquarters in Aizawl to prepare them for the recruitment rally to be held in Dimapur.
